Möbius Case Study

  • Lokaal 1.10, T2, Campus Ufo 35 Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat Gent, Vlaanderen, 9000 Belgium (map)

Curious about what consulting in the healthcare sector looks like in practice? During the Möbius Case Study, you’ll work in teams on a realistic consulting case focused on medical equipment. Together with your team, you’ll analyze imperfect data, develop strategic recommendations and pitch your solution to a jury of Möbius consultants.

Spots are limited, so be sure to register below to secure your spot! In the registration form, you can fill in the names of the students you would like to form a team with, but you can also register individually. We will make sure that everyone ends up in a team of 3-4 students!

What to expect

🔹 Introduction & tips
Möbius will kick things off with a short introduction and share practical tips & tricks on:

  • How to approach a consulting case

  • Data cleaning and critically assessing data

  • Structuring and delivering a strong presentation

🔹 Working on the case
You’ll work in teams of 3-4 students, guided by Möbius consultants throughout the case.

  • Part 1 – Data & critical analysis
You’ll receive an imperfect dataset. Unlike in academia, real-world data is rarely clean — how do you deal with missing or messy data?

  • Part 2 – Strategy & recommendations
Based on your analysis, you’ll formulate concrete recommendations and prepare a short presentation.

  • Part 3 – Presentations
Each team presents their solution to a jury, who will select the winning team and award the prize 🏆

🔹 Networking reception
After the award ceremony, you can network with the Möbius consultants, fellow students and the BEAM board while enjoying drinks and snacks!
