On Wednesday March 11 from 15h30, the Biomedical Industry Day returns to the Therminal in Ghent, bringing together Biomedical Engineering students and leading companies for an afternoon focused on your careers, networking and insights in what the life of a biomedical engineer looks like.
Around 10 companies active in the biomedical sector will be present with their own booths, offering students the opportunity to explore their activities, technologies and career paths in an informal and engaging setting. The event provides 2nd-year Master’s students with access to job opportunities and 1-on-1 meet and greets, 3rd-year Bachelor’s and 1st-year Master’s students with internship possibilities and 2nd-year bachelor students with a first glimpse of the Biomedical Engineering world outside university.
In addition to the job fair, companies will host interactive workshops that give students a hands-on insight into the practical realities of working as a biomedical engineer in industry. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to receive personalized CV feedback, helping them refine their profiles and better position themselves for the right career opportunities.
The Biomedical Industry Day serves as a direct bridge between academia and industry, creating a unique platform where students, professors, and companies connect, exchange ideas, and build the foundations for future collaboration and career opportunities!
