Explore fascinating applications from both medical and engineering perspectives during this intimate excursion. Dive into the intricacies of proton therapy and enjoy a special behind-the-scenes tour of the manufacturing facility. Discover exciting prospects for theses, internships, and career paths, tailored to our participants! Following the tour, we invite you to network over a refreshing Duvel pint in the heart of Brussels, with the opportunity to have an additional dinner. 

Practical Details:

• When? Thursday 29/02/2024

• Where? Meet us at 11:10 by the entrance of Gent-Sint-Pieters station for a train journey to Louvain-La-Neuve. If you prefer not to travel from Ghent by train, please indicate on your registration form. Kindly note, you are responsible for purchasing your train ticket in advance.

• How to register?

  • BEAM members can register via the ‘students’ page (log in and go to ‘events’) on the website on February 19th at 19h

  • Registrations are closed

For safety reasons, additional precautions are necessary:

• Pregnant women or those possibly pregnant cannot participate in the tour.

• Please refrain from wearing high heels during the tour.
